Public Comment:

Director’s Report

- Programs: Stashbusters, garden club, Story Time, Kids Zooming class, check newsletter. 

- Publicity: Facebook up to 731 -  library website, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, April-May newsletter, finished summer reading programming

- Meetings, workshops, etc.: LLC Board meeting and Advisory meeting

- Building: security system, addition, kitchen, teen room

- Library Closures: Holidays

- Volunteers: Teen group, additional volunteers are helping cover books, shelve, straighten shelves, etc. 

- Lakeland, State and other library news: New website slated for between June and August, statewide worry over penal fines

- Patron comments/suggestions: book and dvd suggestions are being processed, programming suggestions, and makerspace kit suggestions, many compliments on new programs, excitement over makerspace kits

- Other:  Statistics, 4 year advocacy and outreach plan continues, community analytic set up is beginning, databases

Trustee Update:

- Township Board Meeting -

Committee Reports: Personnel (monthly staff meeting now scheduled the Saturday before the board meeting)

Old Business: Needs assessment questionnaire - survey monkey

New Business: Policy Manual Update, Conflict of Interest policy, self checkout machines, updated 2015/2016 budget
