Public Comment:

Director’s Report

- Programs: Stashbusters, garden club, Story Time, Kids Zooming class, Edible book competition, book themed events all month

- Publicity: Facebook up to 715 -  library website, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, April-May newsletter, facebook advertising, in the Globe

- Meetings, workshops, etc.: LLC Board meeting and Advisory meeting, Big Talk from Small Libraries 

- Building: security/fire detection system 

- Library Closures: 

- Volunteers: Teen group, additional volunteers are helping cover books, shelve, straighten shelves, etc. 

- Lakeland, State and other library news: New website slated for next year, statewide worry over penal fines

- Patron comments/suggestions: book and dvd suggestions are being processed, programming suggestions, and makerspace kit suggestions, many compliments on new programs, excitement over makerspace kits

- Other:  Statistics, 4 year advocacy and outreach plan continues, disaster plan continuing, updates and addition to procedure manual, community analytic set up is beginning, grant to attend the national small and rural libraries conference, online summer reading program sign up

Committee Reports: Personnel (next staff meeting scheduled for April 11th)

Old Business: Needs assessment questionnaire - survey monkey, Foia policy review

New Business: Logo competition, 2015/2016 budget
